Managing Directors
Müller’s Hausmacher Wurst
As of 1.07.2007, Dipl. Ing. Franz-Josef Hermes (born 1963) and Dipl. Kfm. Christoph Baumgärtner (born 1959) took over Müller’s Hausmacher Wurstwaren H. Müller GmbH & Co KG.
The company that was originally founded by Helmut Müller Sen. in 1949 and moved to Ebstorf in 1959 changed hands in the from of a classic leveraged management buy-out, moving from family ownership to private ownership by the new management team.
Franz-Josef Hermes joined the company in 1994 and shortly afterwards became technical director. He is responsible for production procedures and guarantees the high quality of our products. By taking over a significant share of the company, the continuity for all involved, whether customer or employee remained stable and is an important factor for the development of the company in the future.
Franz-Josef Hermes is married and lives with his wife and three children in Ebstorf.
Christoph Baumgärtner with more than 10 years experience in the private equity sector and management positions within middle-sized holding companies has well qualified for taking on the challenge of running an independent company, thus starting his career as an independent entrepreneur. His varied experience in assessment and the structuring of acquisition financing enabled the takeover of the company to go through without the additional support of further investors. Christoph Baumgärtner is responsible for business administration, sales and distribution.
He is married and lives with his family, including four children on the northern edge of the Lüneburger Heide.
